On August 30th, at the Faculty FPSC, SumDU, organizational meetings for first-year students took place — a traditional event for introducing new students to the #the_best_faculty_in_the_galaxy.
On Saturday, August 5th, there will be a webinar for regional journalists titled “How to Communicate During War: Algorithms for People Without Psychotherapy Experience”.
The webinar, titled “Ukrainian Media: Defiance and Truth” dedicated to discussing ways to support media in Ukraine has concluded. Participating in it were the instructors of the Department of Journalism and Philology of the Faculty FPSC, SumDU: Anna Chernysh, Maryna Sadivncha and Olena Ishchenko.
The head of the Department of Journalism and Philology at the Faculty FPSC, SumDU, and the chairman of the Sumy Regional Organization of the National Union of Journalists of Ukraine, Volodymyr SADIVNYCHIY, has been honored with the Certificate of Merit from the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine “For Merits to the Ukrainian People”.
The 2023 admission campaign started on July 1st with the registration of electronic accounts for prospective students of higher education institutions. Two consultation centers are available at SumDU, where students can receive assistance, including representatives from the Faculty FPSC.
The project, prepared and implemented under the mentorship of Valentyna OPANASIUK, associate professor at the Department of Psychology, Political Science and Socio-Cultural Technologies of the Faculty FPSC, SumDU, achieved victory in the All-Ukrainian competition of civic action projects, “DemBachennia”.
The master's student of the “Political technologies and analytics” programme at the Faculty FPSC, SumDU, Bohdan PETRENKO, has been honored with the prestigious awards of “People's Hero of Ukraine” (from volunteers) and “Defender of the Native Land”.
Arina STOLBTSOVA, Alina SAVCHUK and Kostiantyn RODCHENKO, students of the Faculty FPSC, SumDU, have become the winners of the All-Ukrainian competition of student research works “Personality – society – war: socio-political, psychological, socio-cultural aspects”.
Inna Levenok, a representative of the Faculty FPSC, a lecturer of the Department of Language Training for Foreign Citizens, won in the nomination "The Research Club" of the All-Ukrainian competition "Young Researcher 2022" of the Council of Young Researchers under the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.
On June 18, at Sumy State University, the All-Ukrainian festival-competition of choreography "TendentsiIA" took place. The winner in the category of "Contemporary Dance" was Daria Nahorna, a second-year student of the Faculty FPSC, SumDU, (majoring in "Philology").
Alla Krasulia, a senior lecturer at the Department of Germanic Philology and Vice Dean for international relations at the Faculty FPSC, SumDU, took part in the 17th JTELSS23 Summer School organized by the European Association of Technology Enhanced Learning (EATEL).
