A meeting of master's degree entrants with the management of the Faculty and representatives of graduating departments concerning admission in 2023 took part at the Faculty FPSC, SumDU.

During the meeting, the guests got general information, had the opportunity to ask questions regarding the peculiarities of admission to the master's degree, and got acquainted with the master's programmes the Faculty FPSC, SumDU offers.

In the opening remarks, the Dean of the Faculty, Olena Sushkova, pointed out the importance of choice facing prospective master's students nowadays and encouraged participants to ask questions.

Deputy Executive Secretary of the Admissions Committee of SumDU, Inna Sypchenko, presented to the audience the main terms as well as the peculiarities of the admission campaign. She also introduced the master's degree entrants to the «Admission» section on SumDU website, showing where to find the information and highlighting the important dates of the admission campaign.

Registration for the MCT (Master's Comprehensive Test) and the MTAC (Master's Test of Academic Competence) was the key topic of the report by Executive Secretary of the Selection Committee of the Faculty FPSC, Antonina Prokopenko.

Concluding the first part of the meeting, Olena Sushkova emphasised:

– Your primary task is to choose the study programme you want to apply for and register for the MCT or the MTAC.

The second part of the event featured the presentation of master's degree programmes, namely:

061 Journalism, DP Journalism;

035 Philology, DP «Germanic Languages and Literature (Translation included), the first language is English»;

053 Psychology, DP «Organizational Psychology»;

052 Political Science, DP «Political Technologies and Analytics».

Remarkably, the guests had the opportunity to talk with the guarantors of the educational programmes of the Faculty FPSC, SumDU, finding out what are the features of each programme, what disciplines are studied, what skills master's degree students acquire, the admission terms, as well as asking any questions about admission to a particular educational programme.
