As a result of the cooperation of two departments of the faculty of FPSC of Sumy State University – the Department of Psychology, Political Science and Socio-Cultural Technologies and the Department of Germanic Philology – the club of English language teaching at the Family Support Center "Student Leleka" has been renewed.

English for children combines games, cartoon watching and fascinating stories, because the interest and desire of a child is the best motivation for learning. At the same time the social teacher of "Student Leleka" provides the conditions for comfortable communication of children in the circle of peers, thus developing their social skills.

Learning the language in an accessible and playful way stimulates the intellectual development of children, helps to develop in harmony and expands their capabilities. In addition, small training groups help to use individual approach to each child and pay attention to personal needs. This form of work has always interested both parents and young visitors of “Stork”.

Aside from practical benefits, creative English classes are a great exercise tool for the brain, memory enhancement, and attention development. To achieve such a result under the guidance of experienced university teachers of the faculty of FPSC of SumDU students-translators are actively working within their pedagogical practice.

Starting form November, classes for children over 6 years old will be held every Thursday from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm in the lecture room C-118. These classes are free of charge.
