On January 29, the student self-government of the Faculty FPSC of SumDU held a career guidance event, “Powerfully about FPSC”, for students of the 10th and 11th grades of Sumy General Secondary Education Institution №2.
The Department of Foreign Languages and Linguodidactics of the Faculty FPSC of SumDU has finalized the Christmas Vibes Photo Hunt Contest. This year's contest has become a real celebration of creativity, having brought together young artists from different regions of Ukraine and vividly proved that talent and festive spirit know no bounds!
On 13 January, the Department of Foreign Languages and Linguistics of the Faculty FPSC of SumDU launched the BE THE BEST AT YOUR BEST Winter school for preparing students in grades 9-11 for exams. From the very beginning, the project has gained considerable popularity due to its interactive approach, unique teaching methods and the involvement of highly qualified teachers.
On January 24, a meeting of the staff of the Faculty FPSC of SumDU took place, and the Dean Olena SUSHKOVA reported on the work of the structural unit in 2024.
Teachers of the Department of Germanic Philology of the Faculty FPSC of SumDU took part in the regional round of the All-Ukrainian German language olympiad, which took place online on 14 January. The jury consisted of Anna ZINCHENKO and Diana MOVCHAN from SumDU, as well as teachers from Sumy State Pedagogical University named after A. S. Makarenko.
The Faculty FPSC of SumDU hosted an inspiring event - a literary evening organized by the student government as a part of the “VAPLITE” book club. Over 10 students from various specialties and faculties of the university gathered to share their love of literature.
From January 13th to 17th, the heads of departments at the Faculty FPSC of SumDU reported on the work of their structural units in 2024.
The Faculty FPSC of SumDU has celebrated the graduation of its master’s students. A solemn ceremony took place on January 17th in the university’s Congress Center, bringing together representatives of various specializations from the #the_best_faculty_in_the_galaxy.
On January 3, representatives of the Faculty FPSC, SumDU, participated in the event “Together with SumDU: Meeting of the Professional Community of Teachers from Lyceum No. 33.” The university welcomed teachers of English and German, who visited to learn about the educational, scientific, and career guidance opportunities offered by the faculty.
The attention of the scholarly community of philologists to the academic journal “Philological Treatises” (Category B), published by Sumy State University, continues to grow. The latest issue, Volume 16, № 2 (2024), has been published on the journal’s website.
The Faculty FPSC at SumDU has seen remarkable achievements in 2024. Our students excelled in academic competitions, including the X International Olympiad in Information-Psychological Security and the Ukrainian Language and Literature contest.
