Yurii Kotliar, a fourth-year student of the Department of Journalism and Philology of the Faculty FPSC of SumDU (educational programme "Advertising and Public Relations"), was awarded the Diploma of the Mayor of Sumy.

As stated in the document, he was awarded for his hard work, significant personal contribution to informing residents about the life of the Sumy Local authorities during martial law, high professional skills, and on the occasion of the Journalist's Day.

Yurii Kotliar is an excellent student and combines his studies with work at the local TV channel STS. After receiving his Bachelor's degree, he plans to continue his studies in a Master's programme. He admits that he was surprised to receive the award, but it was a pleasant surprise:

He said, "I believe that this award is the result of hard work, mine, our editor-in-chief's, and the entire staff of the TV channel because we inspire and help each other. The award gives me even more motivation to continue working and studying!"
