The head of the Department of Journalism and Philology at the Faculty FPSC, SumDU, and the chairman of the Sumy Regional Organization of the National Union of Journalists of Ukraine, Volodymyr SADIVNYCHIY, has been honored with the Certificate of Merit from the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine “For Merits to the Ukrainian People”.

The certificate was presented by the chairman of the National Union of Journalists of Ukraine, Serhii TOMILENKO, during an extended meeting of the board of the National Union of Journalists of Ukraine on July 6th.

According to the decree of the chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine No. 557 dated June 6, 2023, Volodymyr SADIVNYCHIY was recognized for his significant personal contribution to the development of domestic journalism and the information sphere for objective and prompt coverage of events in the socio-political and socio-economic life of the country during the state of war and for his high professional mastery.
