The school media and young journalists of the Sumy Region festival "Media world leads to the universe - 23" started at the Faculty FPSC of Sumy State University. Organizers of the event: Department of Journalism and Philology, Sumy Press Club, Sumy Regional Organization of the National Union of Journalists of Ukraine, with the support of the Department of Education and Science of the Sumy Regional State Administration.
Students of the Faculty FPSC Kateryna Kolodiazhna (specialty "Philology") and Anna Naumenko (specialty "Journalism") together with SumDU vocal studio with dignity represented the university at VI International Festival-Contest of Arts "Lymanski zori" (Mykolaiv).

Daryna Ruban, a first-year student majoring in "Journalism" at the Faculty FPSC, SumDU, won one of the nominations at the All-Ukrainian music competition "Kyiv Koloryt".
The Senior Lecturer of the Department of Germanic Philology, Vice Dean for International Relations of the Faculty FPSC, SumDU, Alla Krasulia, spoke at the international forum on virtual teaching «International Forum on Virtual Teaching and Learning: Harnessing Hyflex and Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) Developing Global Citizens».
Lecturer of the Department of Language Training for Foreign Citizens Nataliia Pylypenko-Fritsak and associate professor Alina Cherniakova held an educational event, «With Ukraine in the Heart», which was attended by foreign students — members of the «Descendants of Hippocrates» club and Ukrainian students.
Students, postgraduates, lecturers, and staff of the Faculty FPSC, SumDU, took part in writing the All-Ukrainian radio dictation of national unity. Every year, the All-Ukrainian Radio Dictation unites hundreds of thousands of people from Ukraine and abroad. Still, on November 9, 2022, under martial law, the event became especially significant for all Ukrainians.
