Students of the Faculty FPSC Kateryna Kolodiazhna (specialty "Philology") and Anna Naumenko (specialty "Journalism") together with SumDU vocal studio with dignity represented the university at VI International Festival-Contest of Arts "Lymanski zori" (Mykolaiv).

The event took place on November 5 with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine. The contest format was remote, so contestants recorded videos of their performances and uploaded them on YouTube.

According to the decision of the jury of the contest, the performance of SumDU vocal studio with a song «Я піду в далекі гори» got the highest grades and won first place in the nomination "Pop Singing".

The girls shared their impressions:

—To sing in such a well-coordinated and talented team is absolute magic! Repeating the parts at rehearsals, we honed each note to represent our university decently in the international creative arena. And on the recording, each of us demonstrated artistry, putting all our soul into the performance!, - said Anna Naumenko.

—Perhaps it was the dedication that gave our singing magical notes transmitted to listeners through the screen. Undoubtedly, taking first place is just one of numerous creative achievements of our vocal studio, which will be in the future, - emphasized Kateryna Kolodiazhna.

We wish the magical voices of #the_best_faculty_in_the_galaxy further victories in both team and solo nominations!
