The students of the Faculty FPSC, SumDU, Anna Shpurik, and Artem Korol, as well as postgraduate student Maryna Sadivnycha, took part in the final forum of the international project "Human Rights Programme For Community Leaders «I am @ media". The event took place on September 17 in Kyiv.

The organizers of the project are Sumy State University, in partnership with NGO «Youth Media Union (MMS)», together with the nongovernmental organization "Human Rights Foundation", Chernihiv Polytechnic National University, and the University of Tartu (Estonia). The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Estonia financed the project.

The Human Rights Programme For Community Leaders "I am @ the media" lasted almost a year. In Sumy, the project began with a presentation in the literary lounge of SumDU, and then the Sumy team visited two training schools in Chernihiv.

As the coordinator of the project in the city of Sumy, the head of SumDU Media Center, Maryna Osiukhina, said:

- Representatives of our university team were participants in events in Sumy, Chernihiv, and Kyiv, organizers and speakers at the blog cafe, and created blogs. Such projects are valuable because everyone can try to do something they have never done, knowing they will not be judged for failure but supported on the contrary.

On September 17, at the final forum, the participants presented their human rights blogs, created within the framework of «I am @ media», exchanged experiences, and recalled the most vivid programme activities.

According to one of the organizers of the project, a representative of the public organization "Human Rights Foundation", Roman Tymokhin:

- The active blogging and human rights activity of young people was evident in the communities of Sumy and Chernihiv Regions. Thanks to the project, they gained skills in using the "human rights blog" tool and improved media literacy skills.

For representatives of #the_best_faculty_in_the_galaxy, the project became an excellent opportunity to develop their skills in the field of digital communications, learn new things and find co-thinkers.
