Daryna Ruban, a first-year student majoring in "Journalism" at the Faculty FPSC, SumDU, won one of the nominations at the All-Ukrainian music competition "Kyiv Koloryt". 

Although Daryna only recently joined the university family, she is already actively involved in creative life: 

- Despite the difficult situation in the country, I have a priceless opportunity to be a part of active student life - it's incredible! Even though my journey at SumDU is just the beginning, I already take the university as a homely and cozy place. From the very first day here, they make it clear that you are a significant part of a powerful mechanism that moves only forward! 

Representing Sumy State University at the competition, the girl performed in a rather complicated "academic voice" nomination and won the title laureate of the 1st degree. For this victory, the student thanked the artistic director of the cultural and artistic centre Olha Bondarenko.

- It was Olha Oleksandrivna who became an excellent organiser of the preparation process for the competition. She knows how to find an approach to her students: the repertoire always fits the voice and characteristics of the character, and each rehearsal is skillfully seasoned with warm jokes and a friendly atmosphere. During this short period, the cultural and artistic centre of SumDU managed to fill my soul. 

Daryna is not going to rest on her laurels and believes that new achievements in creativity and education are just around the corner. #the_best_faculty_in_the_galaxy congratulates Daryna Ruban on her victory and wishes her success in her new endeavours!
