On October 28, an online conference, "Educational process through students` eyes" was held at the Faculty FPSC of SumDU. Students of the Faculty of various years of studying, the dean Olena Sushkova, heads of the departments, and lecturers participated in the conference.

During the event, the attendees got acquainted with the survey results that the student dean's office arranged concerning the quality of education at the Faculty. Results indicated that most students are satisfied with the main aspects of the educational process: a schedule, a level of lecturers` preparation for lectures and practical classes, and rating standards.

However, they voiced some wishes to improve the quality of the educational process. For example, first-year students are not satisfied with having classes on Saturdays. Still, the dean of the Faculty, Olena Sushkova, notices this is a forced measure caused by the later start of the academic year of first-year students, and there is a need to catch up with the studies. Also, students noted that they only sometimes have the opportunity to monitor their grades during studying, to which the head of the Department of Psychology, Political Science and Socio-Cultural Technologies, Nina Svitailo, suggested that the lecturers can report grades through monitors of groups.

They also discussed students' engagement in academic mobility programmes. Even though the #the_best_faculty_in_the_galaxy is the first among the faculties and institutes of the university in terms of participation in relevant programmes, the involvement of students in this process needs to be higher. There is a lot of work to do.

The event was exciting and helpful for students and lecturers of the Faculty FPSC, SumDU. For example, student Anastasiia Veremeienko shared her thoughts on the online conference:

– Although I have no problems with the educational process, it was interesting for me to see the survey outcomes and get familiar with the problems of other students. In turn, the Lecturers offered competent solutions to solve issues, and I hope studying will become even better and more accessible.
