The traditional contest review of amateur art among first-year students, "The Golden Integral", in 2022 was quite successful for representatives of the Faculty FPSC of SumDU. And although our young talents did not win in the overall result, they got the biggest amount of victories in the nominations.

This year the first-year students of the #best_faculty_in_the_galaxy decided to dive into the authenticity of Ukrainian folklore and presented "Devil's Fables" to the jury and the audience. A touching story about family values, human relationships, and true love generously seasoned with songs and passionate dances did not leave anyone indifferent in the hall.

As a result, participants got victories in the nominations: "Choreography. Modern stylization", "Stage production", and "STEM". The nomination "Vocal. Academic singing. Solo" took the student majoring in "Journalism" Daryna Ruban; the nomination "Fiction Reading. Author's" nomination took future journalist Liubov Sitak; the charismatic devil, performed by the student majoring in "Psychology" Liubov Malitska, got the nomination "Entertainer", and the winner in "Directing" was Anatolii Serdiuk.

Anna Zinchenko, Vice Dean for Extracurricular Activities of the Faculty FPSC, shared her impressions of watching "The Golden Integral":

– Watching this year's "Golden Integral", I remembered the words of one of the characters of the Harry Potter saga, namely the phrase of Professor Dumbledore: "Happiness can be found even in dark times, if you do not forget to turn to the light". These words echoed in my head at the beginning of the event, during the performance of our Faculty, while waiting for the judges' decision, and, of course, during the announcement of each nomination. It is great to hold such a bright event in such troubling times! And I'm delighted that the students of the Faculty FPSC not only lit their spark but filled the whole hall with light, despite some evil roles in the performance. Shine on, our stars, students of the #best_faculty_in_the_galaxy!
