On November 30, Sumy State University hosted a career orientation event, "Career Day at the Faculty FPSC ", during which students and everyone else could learn the intricacies of some professions taught at the faculty.

Career days at SumDU are a series of events aimed at helping students and graduates in search of their first job. The project involves interviews with employers - representatives of enterprises and organizations of various forms of ownership and multiple spheres of activity.

The director of the department of social protection of the population of Sumy State Administration, Liudmyla Musiiaka, and the representative of the National Council of Ukraine on Television and radio broadcasting in Sumy region, Larysa Yakubenko, told the students about the peculiarities of employment in the specialties of the Faculty FPSC.

During the interview, the speakers shared the secrets of how to write a resume correctly, prepare for an interview, what exactly employers pay attention to, and gave some advice to future specialists.

Speaking about work in the field of social protection, Liudmyla Musiiaka drew attention to the fact that a person who chooses such a job must be devoted to his work. At the same time, the work itself, regardless of what profession the employee received before, can teach a lot:

- The field of social protection is a good start. From my experience - if a person has worked in social protection, they are welcomed in other state structures with pleasure - stressed Liudmyla Musiiaka.

graduates, some of whom are currently working in Kyiv, and said that many of them have succeeded.Larysa Yakubenko shared her impressions of cooperation with the Faculty FPSC of Sumy State University

- The level of training of the graduates is sufficient, - said Larysa Yakubenko, but whether they will succeed depends to a large extent on their ambitions and desire to improve.

Larysa Yakubenko advised today's students - future specialists not to wait for a vacancy to appear but to offer the employer their experience and desire to work. She advised to be active, learn different work practices and learn a foreign language because it is crucial.

- Students who start working while still studying have a much better chance of getting a job because they have already declared themselves, - concluded Larysa Yakubenko.

The Faculty FPSC  of SumDU is interested in each of our students finding a decent job and their place in the profession and life.
