The XII All-Ukrainian Student Scientific and Practical Conference "Translation innovations" was held at the Department of Germanic Philology Faculty FPSC, SumDU.

The conference's purpose is to provide the opportunity for future philologists to share their translation experience and present their linguistic research.

Bachelor, Master, and Ph.D. students of the Department of Germanic Philology and representatives of other higher educational institutions of Ukraine presented scientific theses.

This year, the participants presented their study reports on various linguistic topics. Many interesting questions and answers showed that the reports were at a high level.

The conference was opened by the senior department lecturer Oksana Brovkina. She noted that such annual meetings of specialists contribute to raising the level of translation skills and help to understand the methodological foundation of linguistics, translatology, and teaching methodology. 

The Dean of the Faculty, Olena Sushkova, also greeted the participants. She emphasized the importance of the contribution of young scientists in the development of linguistics. 

The Head of the Department of Germanic Philology, Iryna Kobyakova, noted that SumDU translation students are both known in Ukraine and abroad. They decently represent their university across the world.

Larysa Shchyhlo, Associate Professor, noted that scientific conferences aim to develop the qualities of a good researcher and expand the theoretical horizon, scientific outlook, and erudition. All that, in turn, is extremely necessary for improving professional skills. 

Over a hundred young researchers from all over Ukraine and foreign countries published their research in the conference proceedings. The Faculty FPSC, SumDU, wishes all the participants further inspiration and scientific achievements!
