The Faculty FPSC of SumDU has determined the winners of the annual poetry competition of the literary translation "Alter Ego", traditionally held by the department of Germanic Philology.
The winners were determined in four nominations: poems in Ukrainian, artistic translations from English and German, and poetry in English or German. It is worth noting that this year more than 120 works from authors from all corners of Ukraine - from Prykarpattia to Slobozhanshchyna were sent to the competition.
The judges' commission traditionally included the head of the jury, the head of the department of Germanic Philology, professor Iryna Kobyakova, professor of the department of Germanic philology Svitlana Shvachko, and other representatives of the department.
According to the results of the evaluation of the competitive works, the authors who won prizes were determined places in nominations:

1st place - Hrunskyi Oleksandr (Dnipro National University named after Oles Honchar)
2nd place – Andreieva Polina (Alfred Nobel University),
3rd place - Pavliv Oleksandra (Sumy State University).
Artistic translations from the English language
1st place - Shumylo Tetiana (Sumy State University),
2nd place - Alisa Komlieva (Novotroitsky Lyceum №2 of the Novotroitsky Settlement Council Kherson region),
3rd place - Artur Stepanov (Holodkiv Gymnasium of the Khmilnytskyi City Council).
Artistic translations from the German language
1st place - Oleksandr Butovskyi (Central Ukrainian State Pedagogical Volodymyr Vinnichenko University),
2nd place - Vedmydera Karyna (Sumy State University),
3rd place - Anastasiia Shkurchenko (National Technical University "Kharkiv polytechnic institute").

1st place - Daria Chernikova (Prykarpattia National University named after Vasyl Stefanyk),
2nd place - Victoriia Moskalenko (Dnipro National University named after Oles Honchar),
3rd place - Lina Pylypchuk (Vasyl Stus Donetsk National University).
