Alla Krasulia, a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Germanic Philology, Vice Dean for International Relations of the Faculty FPSC, SumDU, spoke at the EUPRIO-2022 conference, where she represented Sumy State University as one of the four new EURPIO members (European Association of Communication Professionals in Higher Education, EUPRIO).

The conference was held on August 28-31 in Zurich (Switzerland) and brought together more than 300 participants from various EU countries.

In her report, Alla Krasulia described the state of affairs in higher education in Ukraine during the war and told about the main priorities of cooperation with Ukrainian universities, in particular with Sumy State University, taking into account a series of advantages of our HEI. The participants of the conference awarded the speech with a rousing ovation, showing their sincere support for higher education in Ukraine

– I want to say thank you to Alla Krasulia, who graced us from Ukraine and gave a moving speech calling for European cooperation, – noted Jean-Andri Kasutt, the President of EUPRIO, the Head of Communications and Public Relations Department of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) on his LinkedIn page.

– This was definitely the most heart-stirring moment in my journey to EUPRIO. Dr. Alla Krasulia of Sumy State University in Ukraine received a rousing ovation after her presentation about researchers and universities in wartime Ukraine, – reported Ole Frank Nilsen, an Expert in higher education at Aarhus University.

– Viacheslav Chornovil once said: "Ukraine begins with you"! In wartime, everyone has the opportunity to approach the victory by doing their job honestly and professionally. EUPRIO – is an essential platform for educators of Ukrainian universities for discussions, sharing experiences, and participation in joint scientific projects to support higher education both during the war and once we receive our victory. We hope for further fruitful, mutually beneficial cooperation with EUPRIO, – Alla Krasulia shared her impressions.

Representatives of the faculty FPSC of SumDU actively develop international relations, exchange experience with foreign countries, and represent SumDU in an international arena with dignity so that each of our students can get the opportunity to receive a genuinely high-quality European education.
