On May 20 Halyna Ivanivna Lytvynenko, the former Head of the Foreign Languages Department of the Faculty FPSC, Sumy State University, who headed the department for 29 years, passed away at the age of 75.

Halyna Ivanivna's life path is an example of human dignity and decency. Halyna Ivanivna was born on October 19, 1947. In 1968 she graduated from Sumy State Pedagogical Institute named after A.S. Makarenko. In 1979 - Moscow State Pedagogical Institute of Foreign Languages named after M. Torez.

Halyna has dedicated her life to work in the field of education. Since 1992, Head of the Foreign Languages Department of Sumy State University Halyna Ivanivna has made every effort to make the department an important educational unit. In 1993 she received the academic rank of the Associate Professor, and in 2005 she was awarded the title "Honored Scientific-Pedagogical Worker of SumDU".

Halyna Lytvynenko was always a support and backing for her family, good memory of her will forever remain in the hearts of her relatives, colleagues and friends.

The Faculty FPSC of SumDU expresses deep condolences to the relatives, loved ones and all those who knew this intelligent person.
