Students majoring in Journalism at the Faculty FPSC, SumDU, visited the online tour to "Hromadske Radio", which was a kind of prize for future media figures within the project "Detox for educators".

Together with Ana More, a reporter, and editor-in-chief of the website "Hromadske", the students visited the media office, where they immersed themselves in a working atmosphere: watching the process of editing texts, monitoring news, creating programmes, and conducting live broadcasts. The project participants also attended online meetings with the radio's editor-in-chief Tetiana Troshchynska, executive director Kyrylo Lukerenko and head of the office Andrii Kulykov.

- It is interesting to visit "Hromadske". It is unusual to watch the presenters: not only to hear, but also to see their work. The event was helpful for us, the students, because, in addition to new experiences, we received an invitation to have practice here - shared his impressions student Vladyslava Kritska.

Student Olena Zavedenko noted that although the online format is not as convenient as the "live" version, the activities of radio workers were exciting:

- I learned a lot because journalists of "Hromadske" talked about the concept of their work and gave advice. It is nice that modern technology allows you to visit such tours even at a distance. Personally, I desire to work on this radio, communicate live with employees, and gain the needed experience in the future.

Lecturer of the Department of Journalism and Philology Victoriia Suchkova noted:

We managed to look at the "kitchen" of "Hromadske Radio", talk to experienced journalists, and see the radio production process without leaving home. Such events are an excellent opportunity for students to "strengthen" the connection with the future profession, to feel even more confident in the choice made. Communicating with future colleagues and immersing yourself in a unique work atmosphere is an essential experience for students and lecturers.

Students of the faculty FPSC, SumDU, are constantly striving to develop so they do not lose any opportunity to gain new experience, despite the quarantine restrictions. As a part of the implementation of STEAM-education, #the_best_faculty_in_the_ galaxy actively continues to apply modern information technology and multidisciplinary approach in the educational process.
