The Faculty FPSC of SumDU confirmed the high level of scientific activity: "Humanities and Arts", which are cultivated at our faculty, according to the results of state certification, have received the highest marks.

Recently, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine published the results of the state certification of higher education institutions for the implementation of scientific activities. Sumy State University entered the qualification group "A" in four areas, including "Humanities and Arts".

This result is substantive and significant for all departments, Centers, laboratories of the faculty, for all lecturers, researchers, staff.

- High indicators were demonstrated by the departments in the number of performed scientific (scientific and technical) works financed by domestic and foreign customers, - says Vice Dean for Research Maryna Nabok. - Publication activity of scientists in edition indexed by Scopus and / or Web of Science databases, participation in national councils and international academies, associations, unions, as well as positive dynamics of human resources development ensured the faculty's successful passing of state certification at the highest level.

The achievements of our young scientists and graduate students were also praised. And of course - students who actively participate in research, present their results at conferences, competitions and Olympiads. In recent years students have won 37 prizes in the All-Ukrainian competition of student research papers in the Humanities.

Dean of the Faculty FPSC of SumDU Olena Sushkova noted that the result of state certification - is the success of the entire faculty, it is the result of many years of systematic work:

- Certification was carried out in accordance with the approved methodology, which evaluated the indicators of scientific activity related to training, equal publication of scientific results and research funding. At the faculty much attention is paid to the implementation of these indicators.

This is not the first time that the scientific directions represented by the faculty FPSC of SumDU are highly praised. This clearly demonstrates the successful development of the scientific component of the faculty, and as a result - providing our students with modern quality education.
