The poems of the Master graduate of the faculty FPSC of SumDU Yuliia Lazutkina (the specialty "Philology") were published in a school textbook for grades 5-7 recommended by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.

Last year the young poet received an offer from the publishing office "Sunflower" to publish her piece and today she is already holding the book "Modern literature of motherland" in which the poem "Lesia Ukrainka" was published.

And it is not the first her literary achievement. In 2018 Yuliia won second place for her story "Xerox" in the nomination "Prose for young children. Ukrainian authors" in the VI international literary competition of writing pieces for children and youth "Kornei Chukovskyi award". Her participation in the contest of translation of short German prose "Kurz ist mehr" – 2018 held at "The National Technical University named after Ihor Sikorskyi" supported by the German Academic Exchange Service resulted in the getting second place. The publication of story "Unnecessary" in the Ukrainian-Canadian literary and artistic almanac "Wings" was another achievement of 2018. Apart from that, Yuliia is a regular participant and repeated winner in the all-Ukrainian contest of poems and literary translation "Alter Ego".

The girl's interest in writing literary works appeared in elementary school.  She says she just read books and tried to create something similar.

Relatives and teachers supported her first literary attempts. And later the girl completely fell in love with the art of word. Therefore, she decided to connect her future profession with philology.

After entering the faculty FPSC Yuliia continued to open up new horizons under the guidance of wise teachers and mentors:

 – I am grateful to the lecturers of the Department of Germanic Philology as well as writers Vasyl Chubur (the editor of the university newspaper "Rezonans"), Anna Korshunova, Oleksii Nademlinskyi for useful tips and aid for the development of literary slills, Yuliia Lazutkina told.

Our Master is fond of writing children's pieces best of all. And she sees a lot of potential in children's literature, because it is necessary to tell in simple words about complicated truth and, moreover, excite the curiosity.

Where does the inspiration come from? There is no special secret, Yuliia shares:

–There is a huge desire to write at a certain point and anything can cause this desire: a walk, communication with people, everyday situations.

The girl wants to dedicate her future to literature and hopes that one day her works will be read by the whole world.

#the best_faculty_in_the_galaxy is proud of its graduate students and wishes Yuliia all her dreams and creative plans come true.
