Christmas film by Alona Haidukova, a graduate of the Faculty FPSC, SumDU, has won the nomination "Best Editing" at the Best Istanbul Film Festival.

Alona Haidukova - is a specialty "Journalism" graduate. She works as a videographer in Sumy branch of the Public Broadcaster. She says that shooting and editing videos is not only her profession, but also her hobby, which was pushed to by studying at university.

- After graduating, - says Alona, - I saw myself as a copywriter, but later I came to the conclusion that I want to make video. It was this very case where everything I ever admired came together: music, drawing, literary and journalistic activities, work with technology and people. The knowledge got at the university is always useful, and years of studying have brought me almost all the people with whom I worked on this film.

The idea for the film "A Christmas quarrel" belongs to Alona's husband, a groupmate - Vladyslav, who invented the plot a few years ago. To shoot the video, Alona turned for help to friends - also graduates of the faculty FPSC - Tetiana Sapun and Oleh Reshetov, and the main characters were Daria Sapun, Andrii Radchenko and their dog Orli.

- We filmed a Christmas story for my 30th birthday, about ecology and human relations, - says Alona Haidukova. - The topic of ecology is quite relevant now, and Christmas is not far off.

The film was shot in Sumy region, in the village of Kamin, Krolevets district. It took two days and a night of editing to make the film. Of course, there were some difficulties during the work - it was getting dark in the street, and there was barely enough professional light, and everyone was frozen well enough. But the team coped with any difficult situation. The application for the festival was submitted just a few days before the deadline.

Alona says that she enjoyed the process of making the film, and winning the Best Editing nomination was the coolest thing that could have happened to her on International Film Day.

#the_best_faculty_in_the_ galaxy is proud of its talented graduates who constantly prove that the knowledge and skills acquired at the university, multiplied by work and the desire to succeed always give an outstanding result. Congratulations to Alona Haidukova and her team on the victory, we wish further interesting projects and new heights.
