Students and Lecturers of the Department of Psychology, Political Science and Socio-Cultural Technologies of the faculty FPSC of SumDU held traditional New Year's Vechornytsi.

The event took place on December 18th as a part of the educational process of students majoring in “Management of Social and Cultural Activity”. The theme of this year's Parties was "Peculiarities of celebrating Christmas in different countries."

According to the curator of the event, a lecturer at the Department of Psychology, Political Sience and Socio-Cultural Technologies, SumDU Tetiana Povalii, this year the parties were extreme, so the organization was more difficult. Due to quarantine restrictions, the emphasis was on the use of media platforms.

- The students made me very happy with the level of preparation, actively and responsibly approached the organization of the event, independently prepared both the script and the technical basis.

One of the student-organizers Marharyta Kysil said that at first, the format of Vechornytsi was planned a little differently, but then they decided to make an online trip to Christmas countries of the world.

Participants of the Party presented original videos, told interesting facts about cultural features and traditions of different countries, and between presentations of video works, competed for additional points in competitions: "Guess the shot from the movie", "New Year's fairy tale", "Find a smile". The last task was called "Guess the melody" - participants were asked to listen to parts of songs, and then write the artist and the name of the listened fragment.

The winner of all competitions was the group PL-91, which scored 16 points. The second place was taken by the group SR-91 with the number of points - 11.

The event turned out to be interesting and extraordinary, gave everyone present positive impressions and warm memories. However, the organizers hope that Vechornytsi will return to its traditional format next year.

- The biggest difficulties were with the Internet, - says a student-organizer Snizhana Stokratna. - I hope next time we will be able to meet in reality, see smiles, because it is, of course, more pleasant.

The event ended with congratulations of the participants on the upcoming holidays and wishes to each other a good end to the year. The #the_best_faculty_in_the_galaxy joins the congratulations and wishes everyone bright events and new experiences not only online.
