Every year on November 17, the International Students' Day is celebrated - a holiday of youth, thirst for knowledge and great achievements. And even quarantine will not interfere with the creative energy emitted by the bright stars of the faculty FPSC of SumDU.

Student dean Anastasiia Kobeleva told about her university life and coming soon events at the faculty FPSC of SumDU:

–This year, such an energetic holiday as International Students' Day will be held in a somewhat unusual format.  The self-government team is planning a remote game "Mafia", as well as a challenge with photos of university life on the social network Instagram. University years are an important period for everyone, because at this time we get to know ourselves and discover hidden talents. My student years are exciting, because this is not only studying, but also an interesting position that paints life with bright colors. Congratulating all the students on the holiday I wish them to "keep your chin up", not to lose themselves, boldly go to the goal and never be afraid to change their lives for the better.

Surely, a lot of interesting can be found in online student life, but most of us feel nostalgia about live communication. Vladyslava Kritska, a student majoring in Journalism, shared her emotions about this:

–In fact, I am convinced that the student years are the best period. The university plus the dormitory is a school of life. Here you learn to live and gain experience. During the quarantine, I miss the concerts in SumDU. University is new acquaintances, knowledge, hobbies, laughter and tears; it is independence and a new stage of life.

Nikita Lynok, a student majoring in Management of Socio-Cultural Activities, talks about the endless opportunities for self-development and brightness at the faculty FPSC of SumDU:

–My student life is very interesting and diverse. University is a great chance to develop your own skills. For example, I attended advanced training courses in my field, mastered programming, and student self-government gave me the opportunity to express myself and participate in the creation of important projects. University life can be described in the following words: new knowledge, new acquaintances and many opportunities for self-realization. This time can be called the best period of my life.

Kateryna Knyha, a freshman majoring in Philology, shares:

–In short time while I was studying, I realized that the student years are the best in life. I seemed to be a part of a big family. I remember well the photo shot in the style of ghosts. I'm sure there are a lot of interesting things ahead that will allow you to reveal your creative potential.

Lecturers remember their student years with peculiar emotions, even awe.

–My student years,- says the senior lecturer of the Department of Germanic Philology Svetlana Ermolenko,- were really interesting, active and exciting.  We did not have the Internet, and translation practice consisted of communicating with native speakers, writing letters, meetings, and speaking. When I entered the university, I started studying, almost everything changed dramatically - new friends, new events, new emotions. The acquired knowledge remained for life. I wish today's students to enjoy this wonderful period, because then you will become an adult, go to work and life will be completely different.

Inna Havryliuk, Associate Professor of Journalism and Philology, recalls:

–I studied at the university as a student and mother. Student life then was different from today: now young people have many opportunities for self-development, many different events are organized and held for them, a number of projects are implemented. We were also active. And on Students' Day, including. All those "parties" were usually held in a dormitory or in nature. Whatever life is, from the student years you need to take everything you can take: drive, emotions, taste of youth. I want our students not to stay at home and only study, but also not to forget that there is life outside, besides studying, and it is quite interesting.

#the_best_faculty_in_the_galaxy congratulates young people on the International Students' Day and wishes them to take the maximum: both in education and in extracurricular activities.
