A team of students from the faculty FPSC of SumDU celebrated the Day of the Cultural Worker by winning an online quiz dedicated to modern show business.
The event, which was held in the ZOOM conference format, was attended by students of Sumy State University, Precarpathian National University (Ivano-Frankivsk) and West Ukrainian National University (Ternopil).
The team of the faculty PFSC consisted of 23 different years students of specialization “Management of Social and Cultural Activity”. In a persistent struggle our participants demonstrated broad knowledge of modern Ukrainian show business and great speed of reaction, which was especially important in the online format of the quiz.
The secrets of preparation and participation in the game were shared by team captain Alona Pavlenko:
“We were preparing hard. For a long time we chose the name of the team: "Zoomers", got acquainted with the creative work of representatives of Ukrainian show business, distributed responsibilities in the team. We thought it would be easy, the main thing was to take part in an interesting event. But as soon as the quiz started, there was a very strong desire to win. Such events are extremely important in student life, they unite and form a team spirit.”
Simultaneously with the online quiz on the Instagram network, there was a vote for the videos of the Battle Show participants who demonstrated their talents. It was won by Olena Osadcha, also a student of #the_best_faculty_in_the_galaxy
Nina Svitailo, Head of the Department of Psychology, Political Science, and Socio-Cultural Technologies, congratulated Sumy team on its double victory:
“I was extremely worried about my students and rejoice at their victory. But all the participants, without exception, did a great job. The game gave unforgettable emotions. Thank to the organizers for their tremendous work.”
The importance of holding such events was noted by Vasyl Shykerynets, Head of the Department of Tourism Organization and Socio-Cultural Activities Management at Carpathian National University:
“The West has demonstrated that our speciality is alive, we are young and creative. I hope for further fruitful cooperation between the three universities in training future managers of socio-cultural activities.”
