Another victory was the new work of the team of video bloggers «Backstage of Life» of the Faculty FPSC of SumDU. The video to the poem "Ice circles ringing in the buckets" has won the first place in the All-Ukrainian contest "Kostenkiana-2020".

The competition, dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the prominent Ukrainian poetess Lina Kostenko, was held by the Faculty of Philology and Journalism of Volodymyr Vynnychenko Central Ukrainian State Pedagogical University. Short films or video clips to poems of the poetess were accepted for participation. Organizers noted that video poetry was not just a recitation of poetry on camera, but a video miniature that conveys the vision and feeling of Lina Kostenko's work.

Focusing on the task, the creative group «Backstage of Life» decided to shoot not just a beautiful picture, but to fill the video with social context, close to the residents of our city and clear to anyone who would watch the video. “Avariyne village”, as people call it, a remote area of Sumy, which is not currently residential, was chosen as the location for the future video.

Pictures of devastated streets and dilapidated houses echoed with the words of Lina Kostenko's poem "Ice circles ringing in the buckets" and most of all struck the residents of our city, who spent their childhood and youth in the area. The representatives of the jury of “Kostenkiana-2020” competition also appreciated the video.

- It is always nice when your work is noticed, - Yuliia Koval, a representative of the “Backstage of Life” team, a postgraduate student of the Department of Journalism and Philology of SumDU, shares her impressions of the victory. - It is especially nice when experts appreciate your work. Our creative team is very pleased with one more victory. We have many ideas and desires to bring them to life. So let's not stop there and create new social videos!

Now the video bloggers team of the Faculty FPSC of SumDU are looking forward to the ceremony of rewarding, about which will definitely prepare a report. In addition, let’s just watch the video of the winner one more time.
