Students-translators of the Faculty FPSC of SumDU https://gf.sumdu.edu.ua/en/academic-procces/bachelor-s-degree.html have won the IV International translation students competition "Translation as a means of ethno-lingual images of the world actualization" at the Institute of Foreign Philology of the National Pedagogical Drahomanov University.

In overall 109 participants took part in the competition. Students of #the_best_faculty_in_the_galaxy joined this event actively, thus we have 4 winning places.

The 1st place in the first nomination "The best translation of poetry from English into Ukrainian (Russian for foreign students) is awarded to Yuliia Lazutkina for her own interpretation of the Edgar Guest's poem "See it through".

In the third nomination "The best translation of the English hit song into Ukrainian (Russian for foreign students) we have 3 awards at once. The 2nd place is awarded to Alina Lutskovska for her own translation of John Legend's song "All of me". The 3d place was shared between Liliia Danylenko and Alla Velykodna in this very nomination.

The Faculty FPSC of SumDU congratulates the winners! We hope that participating in such competitions will become a great impetus for the girls to develop their talents actively and to gain new creative pinnacles.
