Students of specialty Philology of the Faculty FPSC of SumDU became participants of XVII Eastern Winter School and got a chance to visit Poland. The educational process started on February 28 at the University of Warsaw.

Two weeks of the school Master students Marharyta Turchyna and Yuliia Lazutkina, spent at the Homeland of Fryderyk Franciszek Chopin and Henryk Sienkiewicz – Poland, a country with a vibrant folklore and ancient history.

Weekdays of the representatives of #the_best_faculty_in_the_galaxy started with fascinating lectures from professors of the renowned European universities. Then students attended informative seminars, during which they presented their own projects.

The organizers of the trip supplemented the intensive activities with vivid excursions. Thus, the students have visited the University of Warsaw Library, Central Archives of Historical Records, Warsaw Uprising Museum, Fryderyk Chopin Museum, Polish Army Museum, Battle of Warsaw Museum and the National Museum in Warsaw. Moreover, girls have attended the Royal Castle that is located in the very heart of the Old Town, Wilanowski Palace and walked along the alleys of the magnificent Royal Lazienki Park. Students of the Faculty FPSC are deeply grateful to the organizers for this School and gladly advise the places to visit in Her Majesty Warsaw.
