Students of the Faculty  FPSC of  SumDU took part in a training game devoted to conflict situations in political communication. The event was held on March 11 at Sumy State University.

The training game was organized by the Department of Psychology, Political Science and Socio-Cultural Technologies in collaboration with the Research Centre for Regional Security with the support of the NATO Information and Documentation Center in Ukraine.

Students of specialties «Psychology», «Management of Social and Cultural Activity», and «Journalism» have joined the event. Certified communication trainer, Crisis Semiotic Studios founder Andrii Zahorodskii worked with the students. During the event, students learned more about modern political communication, psychological component of political conflict, and the fundamental difference between conflict and crisis. In up-to-date examples the trainer has shown how to deal with crises and conflicts, how to behave during interviews and what to do and what not to do during a conflict.

During the training game, the students worked out the pattern of political crisis - the absence of the party leader before submitting documents to the CEC. The six teams represented the interests of different actors and communicated within the group and among themselves how to tackle the crisis.

By joining such events, students of the Faculty FPSC of SumDU have the opportunity to learn how to navigate modern political and social processes, as well as to improve their professional skills.
