The “Backstage of Life” video blogger group, which includes representatives from the Faculty FPSC, has won the All-Ukrainian competition for social videos against human trafficking called “I am not for sale”.

The final stage of the competition is the social video festival, which took place in Zaporizhzhia on December 20, organized by the “Posmishka Dytyny” charity fund, with the support of the US Embassy's Law Enforcement Division. The main goal of the event is to create videos of high quality product that can attract attention and raise public awareness of combating human trafficking.

According to the organizers, forty-two videos from all over Ukraine were submitted to the competition, but only thirty-seven of them met the demands. The jury, consisting of police, television and radio representatives, anti-trafficking experts, bloggers, journalists and public activists, selected the seven best finalists. These videos were represented at the festival.

- Participation in the competition "I am not for sale" has become significant for our group. Previously, we have not participated before, but we have won. It is important for us that the work is worth appreciation - it motivates us for further development. With our video, we wanted to tell not only about the existence of the problem of human trafficking, but also to fight against it, - says the participant of the team of video bloggers-winners Yuliia Koval. The “Backstage of Life” creative group was formed as a part of the MeDiAPLUR human rights project in the summer of 2019. From the Faculty FPSC of SumDU, the group included a student of the Department of Journalism and Philology Kateryna Shestak, as well as postgraduate students of the same department Yuliia Koval and Marina Sadivnycha. The video submitted for the competition became the fifth work of the team. It is worth noting that last year's graduate of the specialty "Advertising and Public Relations" of SumDU Kateryna Ivashcheva also tried competing in the "I'm not for sale" competition. Her video came in the third place.

Students, postgraduate students, alumni of the #the_best_faculty_in_the_galaxy are always proving that they are the best. Small and big victories are a worthy example of not being afraid to reach your full potential and try your hand in various projects and competitions. At the same time, the Faculty FPSC of SumDU will always support and help them.
