«The Eighth Colour», traditional festival of advertising, organized by the Department of Journalism and Philology of the Faculty of Foreign Philology and Social Communications (FPSC) of SumDU, determined the winners. The awards ceremony took place on December 19.

This year, the competition jury evaluated about 30 works, dedicated to SumDU corporate visual communications and startups in the field of media.

Olena Sushkova, the Dean of the Faculty FPSC, addressed the participants of «The Eighth Colour-2019» festival with a welcome speech: «It was not easy to determine the winners: works are changing every year, they become more creative and talented. And this year there was some debate on evaluation. In my opinion, each of the participants got what they hoped for».

In the nomination "Media startup" the best recognized projects are YouTube-channels of students of the Faculty FPSC: Valentyna Nemesh (ZhT-62rk) and Karina Khachatarian (ZhT-61) "PRO PRAVA" , as well as "Life of students and lecturers", prepared by Oleh Voronenko and Anastasiia Radchenko (ZhT-62rk).

The winners of the festival were awarded diplomas and books, among which - an almanac of literary translations of the world most famous rock masterpieces "God gave Rock-and-Roll to you" by Andrii Kulykov and Oleh Pastukhov.

A special gift for the graduates of the «Media Startup» nomination was the opportunity to implement projects under the guidance of "mentors" - experienced media specialists.
