The youth organisation 'Ukrainian Students for Freedom' held a two-day forum called 'Liberty future for Ukraine'. Students of the Faculty FPSC SumDU also took part in the event.

'Ukrainian Students for Freedom' (USF) is a non-governmental organisation with one of its centres in the city of Sumy. The activists run large-scale projects all over Ukraine. This time, it was at the SumDU Congress Centre that USF organised the "Liberty future for Ukraine" forum, which brought together about a hundred students.

On the first day, six lectures were held, during which participants learned about the formation of corruption and methods of overcoming it, discussed the topic of non-formal and private education, and learned how Ukraine could stop remaining in poverty. The next day, the speakers spoke about the importance of independent media and the role of NGOs in the country's life. Finally, a panel discussion was held: "What prevents Ukrainians from being happy?".

Daria Medved, a translator and member of the student government, said that the forum was a great way to educate the public, as well as an exciting and useful experience.

Journalism student Sofiia Kostenko also shared her experience of participating in the forum:

̶ It is very remarkable that such educational events are held in our city and Ukraine in general. They significantly impact young people's minds, develop them, and give them a powerful impetus to useful and effective activities. In general, I am delighted.

'Ukrainian Students for Freedom' reported that they will continue their educational activities next year, so #the_best_faculty_in_the_galaxy is ready to join the next non-formal education events.
