On the 24th of November, an online meeting, "Music Outside Politics", was organised by advertising students and the Faculty FPSC SumDU student government as part of the project "Don't Look for an Enemy Song in the Evenings".

The aim of the project is to inform students about the negative consequences of listening to enemy music, offer an alternative and promote interesting Ukrainian songs.

The meeting started with a theoretical part, where the speakers briefly described the impact of listening to Russian music on the current situation in Ukraine. The lecture element of the event ended with advice on where to look for new and interesting music in Ukrainian.

The audience then had the opportunity to ask the event organisers questions and share their own stories about music. For example, several students spoke about how they had switched to listening to Ukrainian songs and how they searched for songs that suited their unique tastes.

The meeting ended with the exchange of music recommendations, which almost everyone joined. The recommendations were used to create the playlist "Don't Look for an Enemy Song in the Evenings".

Student journalist Anastasiia LUTCHENKO shared her impressions of the event:

- Unfortunately, there are still people who continue to support the culture of the enemy. They continue to listen to Russian music and see nothing wrong with it. This issue needs to be raised. That's why I'm very glad that there are students who explain the problem and provide clear facts. In fact, it was nice to listen to the opinions of conscious people, their stories, and to get a playlist of Ukrainian music. I would be happy to attend such an online lecture again.
