The dean was elected on November 7 at the general meeting of the staff of the Faculty FPSC at SumDU. Olena Sushkova will continue to lead #the_best_faculty_in_the_galaxy for the next five years.
In her report, Olena Sushkova outlined the trends in the faculty's development over the past five years, highlighting the achievements and challenges facing the faculty. In particular, she focused on educational programs initiated during a specified period, the successful completion of accreditation procedures, dissertation defenses, the faculty's teaching staff, educational practices implemented at the faculty, academic mobility, projects research activities, and discussed plan for further development.
Andriana Kostenko, the head of the Department of Psychology, Political Science, and Socio-Cultural Technologies; Svitlana Baranova, the head of the Department of Germanic Philology; Nataliia Tatsenko, the head of the Department of Foreign Languages and Linguodidacties; Tetiana Kovalova, the associate professor of the Department of Journalisms and Philology, and Larysa Bidenko, the associate professor of the Department of Language Training for Foreign Citizens provided feedback on the functioning of the faculty under Olena Sushkova's leadership. Everyone positively assessed the dean's work and appealed to the staff to support her candidacy.
The rector of SumDU, Vasyl Karpusha, also positively assessed Olena Sushkova's performance as the dean of the FPSC faculty. He expressed gratitude to the entire staff of the structural unit for their resilience and optimism in challenging wartime conditions, highlighted the significance of the faculty's specialties, and discussed the prospects for their development in today's circumstances, as well as the determination to achieve success.
Through an open vote, the staff meeting unanimously elected Olena Sushkova to the position of dean of the faculty.
- The indicators we have, the atmosphere prevailing at the faculty today – it's the result we've achieved together. I thank each lecturer, staff member, student, and gradual student for contributing to the development of the Faculty FPSC. We've been through challenging times together, but every day, we support each other. By staying aligned and continuing to work together, we'll definitely achieve better results and rise to a higher position among other faculties.
