Undergraduates of the specialty «Political science» and bachelor students of the specialty «Social work» of the Faculty FPSC of SumDU took part in the project «Youth in local governance» that is implemented by the community initiative «Local deputies. Attestation» together with the Sumy platform of reforms.

In practice-oriented education, the students have an opportunity to develop interaction skills with the local deputies, try the tools of public control, and learn more about the local members' activity and the function of the local self-government.

Students will meet with the local deputies, attend the session meeting and the committee of deputies, make monitoring visits to the deputy waiting rooms when the reception of citizens is conducted, etc.

On the 22nd of September, the students had already visited the Sumy state government, become familiar with its functioning, session process, and regulations of work, seen an assembly hall, and spoken to the deputies of the Sumy state government and Diahovets Olena – the head of the communications department of the Sumy state government.
