The first-year students of the Faculty FPSC, SumDU, waited for the traditional event organized annually by the student government of each faculty - the initiation, or rather, the anti-initiation, as #the_best_faculty_in_the_galaxy called this year's event.

The «Pohrib» art space supported the event. According to the organizers, the purpose of the Anti-Initiation was to introduce students to student life, unite the faculty, and have a lot of live communication.

- This is your entrance to university life; we are giving you a green light!" Daryna Ruban, a student majoring in journalism and a member of SSO, told the freshmen.

The beginning of student life was really impressive. The local art group IZO set the tone for the celebration, giving the audience incendiary music and a great mood. The concert programme was followed by talented students of the FPSC: Liubov Malitska, Daryna Ruban, Denys

Kryvopyshyn, and Anatolii Serdiuk. So, the first-year students had time to laugh, dance, win memorable prizes from SumDU, and even take an oath to the #the_best_faculty_in_the_galaxy.

The organizers told about the preparation of the event, which lasted almost a month:

- "We had different opinions about what to do and how to do it; these opinions differed, and we had to think through every moment. But in the end, we did what we have now, and we are very grateful to «Pohrib» for their support, place, and a lot of ideas," said Liubov Sitak, a student majoring in journalism.

- The name came up during the first discussion of dedication ideas with Pohrib. We associated it with all sorts of anti-cafes and anti-conferences, i.e., informal spaces where everyone can find something to their liking and spend time with pleasure. That's why we had different locations, from contests and dances to tea ceremonies. At whose else's dedication can you relax so much during a head massage after a relaxing tea and then dash off to win a souvenir from your home university?" Anzhelika Kalchenko, a student majoring in Philology, shared the organization's secrets.

The first-year students themselves noted the "very cool atmosphere", "cool environment", "delicious food" and, most importantly, "excellent organisation and support from the student dean's office". 

So #the_best_faculty_in_the_galaxy wishes the freshmen that their university life will continue to be as bright and unforgettable as the Anti-Initiation!
