The whole week on March 13-18, the Faculty FPSC, SumDU student self-government held a series of online and offline events dedicated to celebrating the Faculty's 23rd anniversary.

The organized events were aimed not only at entertaining the participants but also at deepening their knowledge of the #best_faculty_in_the_galaxy, its history, traditions, and features.

First, visitors to the SSG Instagram page were able to learn more about the lecturers of all the departments of the Faculty and their achievements. This initiative received favorable feedback from alumni, who noted that they were pleased to remember their teachers and rejoice in their success.

During the online event dedicated to academic mobility programmes, students of the Faculty FPSC met with participants of exchange programmes, who shared their impressions and answered some questions from the audience.

Of course, the most captivating activities were arranged on the territory of the university. Thus, on March 14, a quest through the faculty departments took place. During the event, the participants performed various tasks; for example, at the station "Department of Journalism and Philology", they had to prepare a short story about the quest.

There was also time for entertainment: watching a movie, playing volleyball, and the final chord of the week was the quiz. In the beautiful atmosphere of the SHC "Univer", the students once again demonstrated their creative abilities by performing vocal compositions and reciting poetry.

Anna Zinchenko, Deputy Dean for Educational Work of the Faculty FPSC of Sumy State University, said, "Student self-government is not only the organization of events, but also a great way of communication between students and the "adult" dean's office. It also provides a great opportunity for students to plunge into a full-fledged student life, to learn more not only about their Faculty but also about the university as a whole". 

Summarizing the results of the faculty week, the student dean Snizhana Stokratna said that the events were organized in such a way that the participants not only had fun but also benefited.

She said, "That's why we organized cognitive, sporting, intellectual, "international", and creative events. Of course, it was not without difficulties, but we tried our best and worked together, so everything turned out great, and we received positive feedback from students".

Taking this opportunity, the student self-government of the Faculty FPSC, SumDU, thanks everyone who joined the arrangement and participation in the events and once again congratulates the #best_faculty_in_the_galaxy on its birthday!
