Olena Nazarenko, Vice Dean for Extramural Studies and Distance Learning of the Faculty FPSC of SumDU, and Maryna Sadivnycha, Assistant of the Department of Journalism and Philology, attended an online meeting with students-journalists of Ivan Franko Humanitarian and Pedagogical College of Pryluky.

The Center for Extramural, Distance, and Evening Forms of Education at Sumy State University organized the meeting. Stanislav Meleichuk, director of the Center, and Yaroslav Reshetniak, executive secretary of the Center for Extramural, Distance, and Evening Education selection committee, provided the audience with information about the new rules for admission to the university for various forms of study and told about the university.

Olena Nazarenko introduced college students to the programmes implemented by the Faculty, focused on the possibilities of academic mobility, and revealed some secrets of active student life.

Maryna Sadivnycha told the future applicants about the Department of Journalism and Philology educational programmes, material and technical equipment, practical and scientific components of student training, mobility programs, and prospects for further employment. Maryna illustrated the story with vivid photographs from the life of the department and a short video about future media professionals' student life.

"The greatest value of our department is its teaching staff. You can be sure you will receive a quality education online because our lecturers include experienced researchers and practitioners. There is a friendly atmosphere of understanding and cooperation. Student initiatives are actively supported, projects are implemented, and students' realization at any level is facilitated," the representative of the Department of Journalism and Philology emphasized in her speech.

The students-journalists from Pryluky were interested in the prospect of getting an education at SumDU - they actively joined the conversation, asking questions about the cost of education, the military department, the peculiarities of organizing the educational process and the possibility of combining study and work.
