To commemorate the defenders of Ukraine, students of the Faculty FPSC, SumDU, as part of creative collectives, took part in the all-Ukrainian patriotic literary and musical festival "Shot down youth".  

The festival took place online. There were 3360 participants—pupils and students of creative groups from 20 regions of Ukraine.  

Daryna Ruban, Diana Bozhko, Anna Shpurik, Maryna Tkachenko, and Viktoriia Aristarkhova are the faculty students who participated at the festival in a group performing modern choral songs and Daria Nahorna was an actress in a choreographic performance of the dance theatre "Feieriia". Following the contest results, both groups were awarded the title of First Degree Winners in their categories. 

"We all agreed when we got the proposition to prepare a song for the contest. It wasn't easy—it's rather hard to remember and sing your piece" – Maryna Tkachenko from the specialty "Management of Social and Cultural Activity"  shared her impressions.

It's funny, but precisely this atmosphere has allowed us to achieve such results. We will continue to work on new compositions," said Daryna Ruban, a freshman majoring in Journalism.
