Projects of lecturers of the faculty FPSC were awarded in two nominations at the competition "Pedagogical innovations of SumDU - 2020"

The purpose of the competition is to stimulate pedagogical and research-pedagogical staff of the university to create new and spread modern forms and methods of teaching to ensure a high level of quality of education, implementation of best practices in the organization of educational activities at all levels of education. In total, 41 projects from both author groups and individuals were submitted for consideration by the competition commission in 2020. The total number of participants was 83 people.

The winners were determined in the nominations: "Contact education", "Students’ selfwork", "Practice-oriented training of students", "Career guidance work", "Lifelong education, postgraduate education and advanced training".

According to the results of the competition, the project "Didactic opportunities of heuristic learning for the formation of cognitive independence of students at foreign language classes", proposed by the lecturers of Foreign Languages Department Nataliia Usenko and Oksana Nefedchenko has won the second place in the category "Students’ selfwork".

In the nomination "Practical-oriented training of students" the second place was taken by the project "Services Kahoot, Quizlet, Learning snacks, Ted talks as the ways to increase the motivation of learning activities in foreign languages", the author of which is a senior lecturer at Foreign Languages Department Inna Zaitseva. The third place was taken by the representatives of the Department of Germanic Philology Iryna Ushchapovska, Galyna Chulanova and Diana Movchan with their project "Using the method of design thinking in teaching the practice of the English language".
