The journal «Filologichni Traktati», created in 1994, is a peer-reviewed journal publishing original articles that deal with different fields of modern literature and language sciences. Fields of published researches coincide with specialty 035 – Philology. Chief Editor – prof. O. H. Tkachenko.

The scope of the journal is to serve as a broad platform for exchanging ideas and experience, establish cooperation among researchers working on problems of modern literature and language sciences from the different regions of Ukraine as well as the world. This is an open access journal with databases and catalogues Crossref, Index Copernicus, Google Scholar, Open Academic Journals Index, WordCat, Ulrichsweb, DOI identifier, which means that all content is freely available without charge to the user or his/her institution. This is a definition of open access in accordance with the Budapest Open Access Initiative.
