Teachers of the Faculty FPSC took part in judging the ІІ stage of the All-Ukrainian competition defense of research works of students who are members of the Junior Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (JAS).

The event was held at SumDU from February 20 to 23 and gathered young researchers from the Sumy Region who presented 311 works in various areas of scientific knowledge. 

Representatives of the Faculty FPSC worked in five sections of the competition defense.

Larysa Shchyhlo and Diana Movchan, Associate Professors of the Department of Germanic Philology, worked on the jury for the “German and German-speaking literature” section.

Iryna Zhylenko, Professor of the Department of Journalism and Philology, and Olena Ishchenko, the Assistant Lecturer of the same department, evaluated works of “Foreign Literature” section.

Tetiana Kovalova, Associate Professor of the Department of Journalism and Philology, and Maryna Sadivnycha, Assistant Lecturer, reviewed the projects of the young journalists.

Nataliia Teslyk, Senior Lecturer of Psychology, Political Science, and Socio-Cultural Technologies, and Serhii Nikolaienko, Associate Professor, represented the “Psychology” section. 

Andrii Lebid, Professor of the Department of Psychology, Political Science and Socio-Cultural Technologies, and Liudmyla Telizhenko, Associate Professor, worked in the “Philosophy. Sociology. Religious Studies” section.

The defenses judged by representatives of the Faculty FPSC took place on different days of the competition. Still, all jury members noted the relevance of the topics raised and the creative approach to the work, and they hope that the winners and participants of the competition will choose #the_best_faculty_in_the_galaxy to continue their scientific research.
