The Open Day took place on 2 November at Sumy State University. In addition, the Faculty FPSC of SumDU supported this event and arranged unique attractions for the entrants.

This year's traditional career guidance meeting was held in the shelters of the university buildings. All faculties introduced their specialties to pupils and college students.

The departments of the#best_faculty_in_the galaxy represented three places. The Philology representatives played the game 'What is your profession?' with the guests. The Department of Journalism and Philology described to prospective students some of the main benefits of being a media person using situational interactive flashcards. Students and staff of the Department of Psychology, Political Science, and Socio-Cultural Technologies arranged some activities, such as 'Game – Elias, ' with emotional and situational cards. Together with the participants, the Secondary Education speciality members explored their profession's role and created Jenkins.

Entrants were able not only to discover more about the study programmes, but also to get points for participating in the activities. Afterward, there were prizes for prospective students to receive in the Souvenir Shop in return for the points. They included university and faculty gifts, certificates, fashion items, etc.

11th-grade student Anastasiia visited the Open Day and expressed her experience:

– I enjoyed the event: there were very fascinating destinations and prizes! However, most of all, I appreciated the opportunity to learn about different majors both during the activities and during conversations with students and professors. So now I'm considering journalism and foreign philology.

The#best_faculty_in_the galaxy was thrilled to meet prospective students and encouraged entrants to apply to us!
