Sumy State University organised a science picnic for schoolchildren on Science Day. The event took place at the University's Congress Centre on 22 May and brought together 9-10th grade students from all over Sumy. The #the_best_faculty_in_the_galaxy also joined the organisation and presented its attractive location to the guests.

The picnic was held in a mixed format: an exhibition part and reports on scientific research. At first, the Faculty FPSC of SumDU allowed the guests to feel like journalists: those who wanted to work with the camera, interviewed, and filmed reports. They were assisted by Raisa STOIAN, head of the studio StudTV' 11th Floor' studio, and the Department of Journalism and Philology students. Then, as part of the second part of the event, Olena KUPENKO, Associate Professor of the Department of Psychology, Political Science and Socio-Cultural Technologies, presented a report on 'Sociological Research in Social Work.'

Antonina PROKOPENKO, Vice Dean for Admission Support at the Faculty FPSC, also spoke to the guests at the picnic. She and other representatives of the Faculty answered questions from future applicants and introduced the guests to various specialities.

 #the_best_faculty_in_the_galaxy is ready to develop science and attract even more intelligent and talented young people to it.
