The other day, the Rector’s Cup for Humor was held at Sumy State University. The #the_best_faculty_in_the_galaxy team was among the competition participants.

The Rector’s Cup for humor gathered on stage representatives of the FPSC, EIT, Postgraduate Medical Education faculties, and Academic and Research Institute of Law. A team of SumDU graduates also joined the competition.

During three rounds, the comedians fought for the first place: they impressed with their acting, sang, and joked with the jury wittily. As a result, the participants and spectators received a lot of positive emotions, and the Faculty FPSC won the Winners’ Cup!

Frol TURCHYN, a graduate of the “Philology” specialty, shared his impressions of the event:

- The Faculty FPSC is in my heart forever. Even in the pre-Covid times, there were many humorous contests in SumDU, where I also participated as a member of various teams. We also went to the “League of Laughter” festival with faculty friends. Returning to the SumDU stage is nostalgic and has vivid emotions for me. I hope that the humorous direction here will start to pick up again. Maybe it’s a little “out of time” in the context of all the terrible events, but humor is a way to distract yourself, relax, feel relief, forget for a moment about the realities of the present, and immerse in a small world where you can laugh and think about nothing!
