The Head of Sumy Regional State Administration awarded the student of the Faculty FPSC, Specialty Management of Socio-Cultural Activity of SumDU, Alona Pavlenko a personal scholarship for the 2020/2021 academic year.

The scholarship is awarded for high learning achievements and being actively involved in university life. Alona Pavlenko absolutely isn’t a random winner of such reward. She is an excellent student and regular participant in scientific-theoretical and practical conferences and trainings. Besides, this girl is co-organizer of plenty of meetings within the projects of the Department of Psychology, Political Science and Socio-Cultural Technologies that include New Year’s holidays for children, “holidays in Sumy’s apartments”, Forum theaters and whatnot. Moreover, she got such title as “Miss Elegance” in the competition “Miss SumDU” 2018.

She dances and organizes children’s concerts in spare time. Alona says she was very active from the early childhood: she visited gymnastics, judo, basketball, singing classes and adored origami.

—The news that I got such serious scholarship became unexpected and in the same time joyful for me, — said Alona. — Now I know exactly, that my parents can be proud of me. However, indeed all what I have done at university and out of it was not for certificates or commendation: it helps to develop myself and makes me feel good.

When we asked about her secret, a scholarship owner said, that the main secret is to be confident in yourself and your power.

—When you believe in yourself, the whole world will do the same. It really doesn’t matter which falling and defeats happened to you.  You should get up and continue your way. The shyness – is the biggest man’s enemy, which doesn’t allow to show who are you actually. This is the reason why people often reach nothing.

#the_best_faculty_in_the_galaxy congratulates Alona Pavlenko on the scholarship and wishes more personal and academic achievements.
