The faculty of foreign philology and social communications and all its subdivisions aim their efforts at broadening and deepening the range of international contacts, promotion of educational and research values in Europe and the whole world, support advanced training of lecturers and quality of education. All these initiatives are possible due to coordination of research and educational activity with corresponding institutions abroad.

Department of Journalism and Philology

The Council of the European Communities adopted on 7 May 1990 a Decision establishing a trans-European mobility scheme for university studies (TEMPUS). TEMPUS shall concern countries of Central and Eastern Europe designated as eligible for economic aid. The objectives are, inter alia, to promote increased exchanges and mobility of teaching staff and trainers as part of the cooperation process, to increase the opportunities for the teaching and learning in the eligible countries of those languages used in the Community and covered by the LINGUA programme, and vice versa, and to enable students of the Community to spend a specific period of study or placement in an eligible country.

DAAD (Deutscher Akademischer Austausch Dienst) is a mediatory organization providing cultural policy, educational and research policy, development of cooperation in the sphere of higher education.

The Public Affairs Section oversees a wide-ranging program of academic and professional exchanges funded by the U.S. Department of State. These include the Fulbright Program and the International Visitor Program, as well as programs for students, teachers, university lecturers and younger professionals in a variety of fields.

The Interlink Academy for International Dialog and Journalisms develops and organizes international exchange programs and professional trainings for journalists from all spheres worldwide. The organization was established in 2014. It is not for profit and serves the global community. They regard the digitization of the media as a tremendous opportunity for good and enlightening journalism rather than a threat. It opens up new options for press freedom and freedom of speech worldwide, along with new means of networking and directly reaching journalists around the world and supporting them in their work.

 

The department of journalism and philology participated in The Public Affairs Section grant project, European Commission Erasmus + КА2 (section: Capacity Building in Higher Education DESTIN – Journalism Education for Democracy in Ukraine: Developing Standards, Integrity and Professionalism and others.

Department of Germanic Philology

DAAD (Deutscher Akademischer Austausch Dienst) is a mediatory organization providing cultural policy, educational and research policy, development of cooperation in the sphere of higher education.

DAAD lector Karsten Grunwaldt actively participates in Travel office meetings, academic process and extracurricular activity.

Goethe-Institut is German non-governmental organization aimed to promote German abroad and to support international cultural cooperation.

Professor Joseph Kush from the University of Duquesne, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA presented the latest teaching methods in such disciplines as "Methodology of Teaching Translation with content module: Psychology and Pedagogy of the Higher School"," Methodology of Teaching Foreign Languages","Practical Course of the English Language " during 2018-2019 academic year.

Department of Philosophy

The International Renaissance Foundation (IRF) is one of the largest Ukrainian charitable foundations that has been developing an open society in Ukraine since 1990 where everybody has a sense of dignity, citizens are involved in the formation of the state, and the authorities are transparent and responsible. We work on the development of Ukraine in which human rights are securely protected and positive changes work for the benefit of the citizens. The foundation was founded by the philanthropist George Soros and is part of the Open Society Foundations international network.

In remembrance of the victims of National Socialist injustice, EVZ Foundation works to promote human rights and understanding between peoples. The Foundation is thus an expression of the continuing political and moral responsibility of the state, the private sector and society as a whole for Nazi injustice and towards the victims.

Department of Language Training for Foreign Citizens

Lecturers created intensive language course «European Instrument for Education against Discrimination and Intolerance in the multicultural educational environment» for foreign learners within this programme.
